BINTULU: The general manager of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) Datu Dr Sulaiman Hussaini yesterday heaped praises on Jepak incumbent Datuk Talib Zulpilip.

Sulaiman described Talib as a ‘perfectionist’ who could bring any organisation he leads to great heights.

“The people of Bintulu, especially Jepak, must not let go of this jewel,” he said at the ‘1Bintulu Networking Community’ hi-tea gathering here on Sunday.

Sulaiman said Talib had played very important roles in helping to develop the industrial sector in the state for many years.

“He (Talib) is a hardworking person and very precise in making decisions,” said Sulaiman, who started working under Talib way back in 1987.

The effective leadership of Talib, he said, could be seen in how he managed SEDC for the last 10 years as its chairman. SEDC, he said, is now a very competitive organisation.

“He held the post for 10 years and is still leading SEDC. Hence, something must be good about him.”
