KUCHING: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sarawak would end up with no members left before the election if the exodus of its members goes on as it is now.
Saying that members are leaving the party because of disillusionment that the party has failed to walk its talk, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth vice chief Pandi Suhaili said it was not a surprise that PKR’s Youth vice-chairman Granda Aing had turned his back on it to join SNAP.
“As time goes by, many of its leaders and supporters start to realise that the party is actually not fighting for the interest of the rakyat but for the interest of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as well as a handful of leaders in the state leadership,” he said when contacted yesterday.
He added the admission by Granda that PKR was full of problems was also not a surprise because many Sarawakians already knew about it.
Pandi pointed out that there were already many signs that foretold the exodus of the party members.
