Kenyataan Naib Ketua Pemuda PBB Sarawak Pandi Suhaili
31hb Julai 2012
(merujuk kepada '' Cholera outbreak still confined to Bintulu " - The Star)
Sekian. Terimakasih.

KUCHING: The cholera outbreak in Bintulu remains a major concern as the State Health Department tries to contain the disease within the district.
Local Government and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh said medical personnel had been going to the ground to check on hygiene among food handlers.
“The cholera outbreak is still confined to Bintulu with about 70 confirmed cases out of 140 people suspected to be infected,” he told reporters here yesterday.
Wong advised the people to remain vigilant particularly when preparing food and only drink boiled water.
“When you do your washing, make sure the water you use is clean,” he said.
Last week, Wong said the cholera outbreak in Bintulu had affected 140 people with one case still under observation in the intensive care unit.
The State Health Department first detected the cholera outbreak on July 14.
