BINTULU: Bintulu Anaq Vaie Association (PAVB) recently had a dialogue with Assistant Minister of Tourism cum Jepak assemblyman Datuk Talib Zulpilip regarding various issues concerning the welfare and interests of its members.
PAVB requested Talib to introduce special business stalls for its members and other Bumiputeras along Bintulu Promenade up to the RHB bank in Taman Sri Dagang.
While agreeing to the proposal, Talib urged the association to propose a strategic location for further consideration so that it can be implemented.
The chairman of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) , Talib also informed them that the corporation provides grants and business assistance worth RM5,000 to small business operators.
However, he said the loan amount can be increased to RM10,000, the maximum, if they pay their initial loans on schedule.
